Richard Bunch - Project Representative
Richard joined the Timbermill Wind Project in 2016 as the local project representative. Richard lives near the project site and works locally with the community and county.
Richard served for over 30 years as the Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, for which his responsibilities included economic development and membership services. Richard is a graduate of the Institutes for Organization Management from UG/US Chamber of Commerce.
Richard has spent his career working on economic development projects across the country, serving as the Chairman of the Northeast Economic Developers and later as a staff developer of the Northeast Economic Development Organization. During this tenure Richard was assigned as support staff for the Timbermill Wind Project.
Win Dale – Project Representative
Win joined the Timbermill Wind Team in 2021 as a project representative, working with local organizations, landowners, supporters, county representatives, and elected officials.
A native of Edenton and Chowan County, he has experience in the retail, automotive, communications, and energy industries. Also a former small business owner, Win served as Executive Director of the Edenton-Chowan Chamber of Commerce, working to strengthen and promote small businesses throughout the community, before retiring in 2020.
Under Dale’s leadership, the Edenton-Chowan Chamber was recognized in 2019 as a Clean Energy Champion by the Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy, for their support of the Timbermill Wind Project. Dale and the Chamber were one of the first organizations in the community to generate a resolution in support of wind energy, worked to promote the economic benefits of the project for the community, and lobbied the NC General Assembly encouraging wind energy development
